THE LITTLE CLINIC AND THE TOLEDO CLINIC ANNOUNCE NEW CLINICAL COLLABORATION
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (January 19, 2017) –The Little
Clinic and The Toledo Clinic have formed a clinical collaboration to provide
consumers with improved access to healthcare services with The Toledo Clinic
network of more than 170 primary care and specialty physicians. This new collaboration
will support The Little Clinic locations inside five Toledo-area Kroger stores.
“This collaboration expands healthcare access and
convenience for Toledo Clinic patients who now have the option of seeking care
at The Little Clinic, close to where they live, work and go to school,” said Cathleen
McKnight, director, patient centered strategies, for The Little Clinic. “Together
we can leverage our collective strengths to make a difference in overall health
and wellness for the Toledo community.”
The arrangement with The Toledo
Clinic will strengthen coordination of care for the patient.
Patients of The Toledo Clinic who access care at The Little Clinic can
have their records shared with their provider at The Toledo Clinic for
treatment purposes.
“We are pleased to announce this collaboration. This
agreement will improve access to care for our patients and people throughout
the region, especially in the evenings and on weekends,” said Henry Naddaf, M.D.,
a primary care physician at The Toledo Clinic.
The Little Clinic locations are staffed
with board-certified nurse practitioners authorized to diagnose, treat, and
write prescriptions for many common illnesses such as bronchitis, sinus
infections, seasonal allergies and the flu. The clinics also provide a wide
selection of additional wellness services such as physicals, health screenings,
tobacco cessation and vaccinations, along with care for chronic health issues
including diabetes and high blood pressure. The Little Clinic provides care for
the entire family from age 12 months and up, seven days a week, including
evenings, with no appointment necessary. The Little Clinic locations included
